A grandson of Imhotep, the first architect of Egypt
A young Egyptian engineer named “Walid Arafa” designed and implemented a mosque in a small village in the governorate of Sohag the past year. I have rarely seen anything like it in the whole of mainland Egypt. The mosque’s size is small in proportion to its location in a village that matches its size, but if it works on a scale, The biggest job appears in it too. A wonderful achievement, in fact, the village of Basouneh – Al Maragha Center – Sohag Governorate.
