Day 01: Travel By Plane To Luxor And Explore The Ancient City
Your Egyptologist tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Cairo and take you to the airport for your trip to Luxor, where you will visit the famous Karnak temple, the greatest place of worship ever created. Their original name for it, Ipet-isut, means “the holiest of sites.” For over 2000 years, countless pharaohs worked to construct the temple, or, more accurately, the temple complex.

The “Hypostyle Hall” contains a great grove of enormous pillars. You’ll stop for lunch at a nice restaurant along the way. Then your guide will take you to see the impressive Luxor Temple, constructed by Amenhotep III and Ramses II, for religious ceremonies and festivals devoted to the god Amun. After that, you’ll be driven to your hotel, where you can settle down for the night after checking in your accommodation in Luxor.

Day 02: Luxor Sightseeing Tours & Fly Back Cairo
After a pleasant breakfast at your Luxor hotel, you’ll take a tour of the West Bank of the Nile, where you’ll see the two massive statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon) and the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs discovered are housed. As they were carved deep into the desert rock, these tombs were lavishly decorated and stocked with treasures for the pharaohs’ afterlife.

The next stop on tour is the Temple of Hatshepsut in El Deir el Bahari, where the only female pharaoh is honored with an imposing structure that rises out of the desert plain on a series of terraces and blends in with the surrounding sheer limestone cliffs. Proceed to a nearby restaurant for lunch. Next, you’ll board a Felucca and cruise down the Nile to Banana Island, where our representative will pick you up and drive to your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle.
