One of the rituals performed on the mummy and the dead

The ritual of making offerings

Mostly, sacrifices play the number one thousand (Kha).
▪️ Khat (a thousand bread)
▪️ Kha Ka (a thousand bulls)
▪️ Kha Ebad (A Thousand Birds)
▪️ Kha-Makht (Thousands of Clothes)
▪️ Khas (thousands of alabaster)
▪️ I got angry (a thousand beers) … and so on

The number A played a major role in these offerings
All these offerings and others symbolize the “eye of Horus”.
Which is said to carry within it everything that comes out of the earth
All offerings are chosen from the human world
But the priest transforms it through some rituals
to its initial form..that is, it:
(introduces the spiritual essence underlying it)
Not the physical form
When presenting this spiritual essence
To Osiris, life returns to him

For example, it was mentioned in the text of Al-Ahram:
Arise, O king, and take your water, and gather your bones
Get up and throw away your bread that does not rot
Your pain that does not spoil to feed your soul
You have the power and come back strong again

The origin of the offerings goes back to (the legend of the eye)
And the legend says:
When Osiris died, Set stole the eye
But Horus took it back and gave it back to Osiris.

And offering sacrifices (as a symbol of the eye) to “Osiris” means victory over “Set”, the symbol of the forces of chaos.
So the creation process can begin.
Unhindered by the forces of cosmic chaos

In addition to its relationship to the eye
The offerings also symbolize the eternal energy of the earth
This is evident from text No. 49 of the text of Al-Ahram
who says:
▪️ O King Osiris, eat the yeast that sprang from you
▪️ Take this bowl of beer made of mino stone.

It is clear from the previous text that beer.
Or rather, the components of beer flowed from the body of “Osiris”.
Which represents the earth and the eternal water.
That is, the sacrifice is returned to God again.
What emanated from him at the beginning of creation

The same idea applies to other offerings, such as:
▪️Bread
▪️cloth
▪️ alabaster
▪️Cattle heads
▪️Essential oils

The whole idea revolves around:
Providing samples of everything the earth produces to the mummy of “Osiris.”
To be able to recycle the eternal elements of creation.
