In 1989, when president Farouk Shared was working with the Egyptian mission with Dr Muhammad al-Sagheer in Luxor Temple, cleaning work was done. While the dust was being lifted, President Farouk noticed that the colour of the soil changed a lot, so he ordered the workers to stop and dig less than a meter alone at that time, everyone was surprised, and some said that he was lost Down the drain.
But he was certain, with his experience and his feeling, of something that called him;
Suddenly, a stone appeared, which was the base of a statue of Amenhotep the Third, made of pink granite. His handheld the key to life. He raised that stone with the help of guards and workers, even visiting tourists, and then found three other statues!
At this moment, everyone was dazzled. It was a different moment that the audience did not expect …
Excavations were carried out with the help of 200 workers at a depth of more than 4 meters. He did not find anything else, but he was sure that there were remnants by the nature of his experience.
In the last moments, he ordered one of the workers to come to him with a sample from the soil, and the workers hit the first axe in the statue, and when he heard that sound, he became bored and shouted at the worker, he stopped. He jumped into the pit himself, removed the dirt, and saw a statue of alabaster 75 cm long, and the beginning was to uncover the cache of the Luxor Temple, which is well dug in the ground with 15 statues of a large size on top of each other.
It is now displayed in the Luxor Museum.
