Egypt Magic [1574]
The only statue of King Khufu, the owner of the Great Pyramid, was found. It is a small statue of ivory; its length does not exceed 7.5 cm. This small statue was found by the British scientist “Flinders Petrie” in “Abydos” in Sohag in 1903. It represents king Khufu wearing the red crown of the North .. and holds in his right hand the guilt “sweater”, one of the signs of authority in ancient Egypt .. the statue’s face shows signs of ageing and a strong and stern character. The statue is currently on display in the Egyptian Museum.
