Egypt Magic [1561]
Gold bracelet of the King “Passion I.”
The third king of the Twenty-first Dynasty, the king’s burial chamber, “Psusens I”, contained many pieces of jewellery, including two identical bracelets, and this golden bracelet was found on the right arm of the king’s mummy.
The bracelet consists of two separate solid pieces of unequal size joined together and hidden under inlays. The upper edges are decorated with spiral-shaped motifs in relief and small triangles covered with lapis lazuli, and the outer part of the raised gold bears inlays of azure.
The inscription mentions the date of birth and coronation of the king, as well as his titles.
It is found in the Egyptian Museum.
