Egypt Magic [1556]
Collectables of the tomb of the Princess “Citathurion” or “Sat Hathor Unit”
The British Antiquities Mission in Egypt discovered it in (1914 AD) in its cemetery next to the pyramid of King Senusret II in Lahoun area.
Some of its holdings bear the name of the king, “Senusret II”, while others bear the name of the king, “Amenemhat III.”
Boxes containing her jewellery and cosmetics were found in her tomb.
Most of the pieces are made of gold with inlays of precious stones.
The majority of the finds are in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
