At around 7 a.m., your tour guide will pick you up in a comfortable, air-conditioned car and drive you to Wadi El Natrun, the actual origin of Christian monasticism (about 110 kilometers from Cairo). You will start your tour in Deir al-Paramus, the oldest of the four surviving monasteries in Wadi el Natrun. From there, you will head to Anba Makar, also known as Anba Makaryus Monastery, which is believed to have been the first monastery in the area. After that, we’ll visit Deir Anba Bishoi, whose remains are still housed in the monastery. Deir El-Suryani is the final stop on your excursion, the smallest of the four monasteries.
Finally , Our representative will take you back to your hotel in Cairo.
