Take a day trip visiting The two enormous statues of Memnon, the mysterious tombs in the Valley of the Kings, and the one-of-a-kind masterpieces of the great queen Hatshepsut temple.
Enjoy this Amazing Day Tour to the West Bank in Luxor.
The trip to the West Bank of Luxor starts with a visit to the legendary Valley of the Kings and exploring the kings’ pharaonic tombs. Then we’ll move to el Deir El Bahari, a temple dedicated to one of Egypt’s most well-known female rulers Queen Hatshepsut, located just outside the Valley of the Kings. We’ll then visit The Colossi of Memnon, statues of Amenhotep III that are 3400 years old, stand 75 feet tall, and weigh 1,000 tonnes each, which are well worth seeing. Massive sandstone statues that formerly stood on either side of the entrance of Amenhotep III’s ruined mortuary temple are now almost alone in a field where the building was destroyed over 3,400 years ago.
