The journey then continues to the Valley Temple and the Great Sphinx, dating back to the reign of Chephren. Stop for lunch at a café or restaurant in downtown Cairo. After that, we will have a blast exploring the Pharaonic treasures at the Egyptian Museum.
The museum has what is often regarded as the world’s finest and most extensive collection of ancient Egyptian art, spanning around 5,000 years. The excavation of his tomb in 1920 revealed approximately 250,000 authentic treasures, including gold and jewelry, that had been buried there for almost 3,500 years. Keep driving till you reach Islamic Cairo and the old bazaar of Cairo, Khan El Khalili. You will be picked up at your hotel and taken to Cairo International Airport in the evening.
